Who we are
thecoaster.in is owned and operated by Kalpatit, based in Mumbai, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site or place an order, why we collect it, and what choices you have. Information we collect
We only collect what an order genuinely needs, plus a little to keep the site working:
- Order details — your name, shipping address, email address and phone number, so the coaster can find you.
- Payment information — processed securely by our payment gateway. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
- Communications — anything you send us by email or through a contact form, kept so we can help you.
- Usage data — basic, mostly anonymous information such as pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and analytics to understand what’s working.
How we use it
Your information is used for clear, boring, necessary reasons:
- To process, pack and deliver your order, and to send order and shipping updates.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To handle returns, replacements and refunds where they apply.
- To improve the site, fix problems and keep it secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have clearly opted in. If you ever do opt in, every message includes a way to opt back out.

Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including secure checkout and restricted access. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data as safe as a slab of cement is heavy.
Children
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here, so it’s worth a glance before you order.
